EMERGENCE
Beneath the dark
Of winter laid
The seeds of dreams;
And so they stayed.
Till now in spring,
They come to life;
From under earth,
They reach the sky.
The northern ice
Succumbs to flame.
The bear emerges
From his cave.
In golden morn
And dew he roams
The sweet-grass field
Of dreams he's sown.
The joyful grizzly
Knows the fate
Of wolfskin boasters
Dull from hate;
Tooth will crush
Claw-battered skulls.
The battle-bear
Will lumber old.
He'll wear again
The golden ring;
The song of bear
His kin will sing.
As bones he'll lay
To sleep again.
The golden cycle
Never ends.

The wise wolf makes
The storm his friend.
The freezing snow
As his own skin.
He uses cold
Against his prey,
Through silent darkness,
Lays the way.
The lightning strikes,
The antlers crash.
The darkness bites
With teeth that gnash.
The skeleton
Is quickly cleaned
(but gifts for ravens
in morning's steam).
By day's return,
Behind the stones,
A joyful family
Shares the bones.
They laugh & thrash
They play & fight;
A father rests,
Wolf pups delight.

A New beginning.
A Glorious day.
With sun on leafs.
Wolf pups at play.
The wind speaks through
The grove of birch,
And soon the pups
Shall roam the earth.

Moon already
Closed its eyes.
Sun peeks out
Behind the clouds.
Wind is blowing,
Leaves are falling,
Water sprinkles
From the sky.

There is a place,
so big and real;
yet, impossible
for eyes to see.
A place that grows
With everyday day.
A place that can not
be built by one man
alone.
I'll tell you two secrets:
The first one;
how was it made?
Floors are built from respect,
Walls are made from love.
Windows built from knowledge,
Roof the wisdom holds.
Doors are strength:
Protective,
But never closed.
And the second secret;
What makes this place so true?
The answer's simple:
It's me and you.

New light dance’s on this day.
As the darkness fades a little more each day ahead.
My achievements are your achievements.
Your triumphs are my celebration.
Through your struggles I will expect any burden that can be shared.
As kindred we walk many paths together.
May these brighter days find you joy.

No oath be asked
Yet oath be made
My sword my axe
Is yours for aid.
No brothers fight
Without my blade
Nothing in return
Need be no trade
Remember this
Oath that I state,
My words ring true.
They will not fade.

Oh, Odin,
Mastermind:
You fashioned the earth that I walk on,
motioned the soles of my feet
You fixed my gaze at the starry skies,
wonder by wonder I find at your seat.
Oh, Odin,
Transformer:
You are the magical might
That swirled these stars into position.
The push that lifted my spirits to heights.
The light that beams in my vision.
Oh, Odin,
Alfadr:
Give me yet another day.
Your strength & your wisdom pave my way.
Your breath gives life to my body.
Let my battles be fair – not many.
Oh, Odin,
I thank you.
